Our promise

How we stay honest

  • We take no money from AI vendors — no affiliate fees, referral commissions, rev-share, or "partner" kickbacks. Not now, not ever.
  • We don't sell software or licenses. We're strictly advisory — you buy direct from whoever fits, or from no one. We just point the way.
  • You pay us, and only you. A fixed fee for honest judgment — never a cut of what you end up buying.
  • No exclusive vendor relationships. So we can name the right tool for you — and tell you exactly where it falls short.
  • Sometimes the answer is "spend less." If the free tier, a cheaper tool, or the one you already have is right, that's the call we'll make.
The independence that makes our lessons trustworthy is the same thing that makes our advice worth paying for. We won't trade it for a commission.

The data backs the neutrality.

Independent advice measurably outperforms vendor-led advice — because the people selling you the tool can't also be the ones grading it.

$150k+/yr

What a 200-seat AI rollout really costs all-in. That's the size of the decision we help you get right — before you commit.

Rising demand

Companies are moving to independent advisors as trust in vendor-led AI advice declines. We were built for exactly this.

1 subscription

Often, one redundant or over-tiered tool we help you cut covers the entire engagement fee.

Four steps to a clear recommendation.

A simple, honest process — we learn how your team works, test the real options against it, and hand you a decision you can act on.

1

Discovery

We map how your teams actually work today — the tasks, current tools, data sensitivity, and where time leaks.

2

Analysis

We weigh the real contenders against your workflows — capability, cost, security, and lock-in risk.

3

Recommendation

A documented answer: which tool for which job, what to skip, and a cost model for your real usage.

4

Direction

A plain rollout plan and a simple AI-use policy to start from. You buy direct — we don't sell or resell a thing.

A decision, not a sales pitch.

Not a slide of vendor logos — a document your leadership can act on the same week.

🎯

Tool-by-tool recommendation

The right AI for each workflow, with a named runner-up and why it lost.

💵

Real-usage cost model

Pay-per-use vs. subscriptions vs. credits, modeled on your actual volume — not list price.

🔒

Security & privacy notes

Where your data goes, what to switch off, and the compliance flags per tool.

🗺️

Direction & rollout plan

Pilot group, sequencing, and a simple internal AI-use policy to start from.

⚖️

Honest trade-off log

Every recommendation's weak spots, documented — nothing oversold.

💬

Live readout + Q&A

A working session with your team to pressure-test the plan before you commit.

Two ways to start.

One picks your AI. One finds what you're already paying for. Both are fixed-price, independent, and done in weeks — and both are priced so an IT director can say yes without a committee.

Choose your AI

AI Selection Lab

Your work. Multiple AI platforms. One defensible decision.

  • The Real-Work Benchmark: 5–8 of your actual workflows run head-to-head through the major AI platforms — documented, screenshots and all. No demo prompts. Your work, verbatim.
  • Written recommendation that shows the scoring, not just the winner — including where the honest answer is two tools
  • Licensing math at your headcount, in real dollars

AI Spend & Sprawl Audit

Find every AI tool. See who's using it. Stop paying for what you don't need.
$4,950
2 weeks · fixed price · up to ~500 employees
  • Every AI line item pulled from expenses and invoices — we bring the search-term list
  • Admin-console usage data you already own but never look at — who actually opens what
  • Anonymous staff survey to surface shadow AI tools
  • Three numbers: total monthly AI spend · cost per active user · your recoverable dollars
  • Keep / cancel / downgrade / renegotiate plan + a 1-page AI purchasing policy so sprawl doesn't grow back
Start the Audit
Nobody in your company can answer what you spend on AI each month. Industry studies consistently find roughly half of paid licenses go unused. If the Audit doesn't find savings worth more than it costs, it will have told you something rarer — that your AI spend is under control. Almost nobody can say that.

Need more than a fixed-price start? Scale it up.

Talk to us
Priced against the decision, not the hours. A 200-seat AI rollout is a $150k+/year commitment — a five-to-seven-figure decision at enterprise scale. Our fee is a small fraction of that, and one right-sized subscription often pays it back.

All prices are starting points, benchmarked to 2026 independent-advisory market rates and confirmed after a short scoping call · Nonprofit & education rates available

The questions everyone asks.

Do you take money from the AI companies?

Never. No affiliate fees, referral commissions, rev-share, or partner deals — from any AI vendor. You're the only one who pays us, which is the whole point. If we ever recommend a tool, it's because it's right for you, full stop.

Do you sell or resell software and licenses?

No. We're strictly advisory. We tell you what fits and you buy it direct from whoever provides it — or from no one. We never touch the transaction, because the moment we did, we'd have a reason to steer you.

What if we've already picked a tool?

Great — we'll give you an honest second opinion. Sometimes the answer is "you chose well, keep it and here's how to get more out of it." Sometimes it's "here's a cheaper or better fit." Either way you'll know.

Do you implement it for us?

We advise and plan the direction; we don't build it or resell licenses. Keeping our hands off the implementation is exactly what keeps the advice neutral. We'll hand you a clear plan your team (or your existing IT partner) can execute.

Why should we trust your read?

We run LearningGPT — 380+ hands-on lessons across every major AI tool, kept current as they change. The same independent research behind the lessons is the research behind your recommendation. We've already done the homework on these tools; we're just applying it to your company.

How much time does it take from us?

Very little. A Snapshot is mostly async — a short questionnaire and one round of questions. An Assessment adds a few short interviews and a live readout, over 2–3 weeks. Fixed fee, agreed up front, no surprises.

Why our advice keeps getting sharper

Every conversation shows us what real companies are weighing and why — which feeds our lessons and research, which makes the next recommendation better. The independence compounds instead of wearing out.

Get an outside read you can trust.

Tell us how your team works and what you're weighing. We'll tell you what's worth paying for — and what isn't. No vendor whispering in our ear.
